Who is eligible to participate as a Referrer in the Allstream Small Business “It Pays to Connect” Referral Program?
A Referrer (customer who is submitting the referral) must be an existing Allstream Small Business customer.

Who can I refer?
You can refer any Canadian small business owner or decision maker who is not currently an Allstream Small Business customer. “Small business” is defined as fewer than 50 employees. To qualify, the referred party’s business must be located in an area eligible for Allstream Small Business service. We will verify this upon receipt of the referral.

How many referrals can I make?
You can make as many referrals as you like.

What’s considered a successful referral?
A successful referral is a referral that results in a new Allstream Small Business customer getting a service/product installed. “New” is defined as currently not an Allstream Small Business customer.

How long will it take to receive a reward?
Your referral will be forwarded to an Allstream Small Business representative for sales follow-up within two business days of submission, and referrals must result in a qualifying installation approximately 90 days following submission to qualify for a reward. Please allow approximately four weeks following a qualifying installation to receive your referral reward. Note that it may be possible to receive two separate rewards at different times, if you have successfully referred more than one party.

How do I find out about the status of my referrals?
If your referral results in a qualifying installation within the required 90-day timeframe, you will receive an email notification advising that a reward has been earned. Please allow approximately four weeks from the time a qualifying installation has been made to receive your reward. If you would like to check whether a referral has resulted in a sale, please call our Customer Care department at 1-877-663-2791 between the hours of 8:00 am and 6:00 pm ET, Monday-Friday.

In the case of a successful referral, when will the party I referred be rewarded?
Upon installation, we will also send the reward to the new referred party. Please allow approximately 4 weeks following installation.

Can I refer myself (as a current Allstream Small Business customer) if I am interested in adding an Allstream Small Business service?
The intent of the program is to reward current business customers for referring a new business to Allstream Small Business, so self-referrals are not eligible for rewards.

What Allstream Small Business services/products must a new customer purchase to constitute a successful referral?
A new customer can purchase any Allstream Small Business service/product to constitute a successful referral, upon installation. But they must not have been an Allstream Small Business customer upon referral.
